CD Review: O's Notes: Boulger storms the scene with his sophomore effort, Blues Twilight. Some fine musicians notable pianists John Hicks and Anthony Wonsey join him. He's unleashing a wrath of emotion on the title track and "Perceptions". We liked "Miss Sarah" with the punctuated bass line from Dennis Irwin and the peaceful vibe of "A Flower For Mary" featuring Kris Jensen on flute. Boulger explodes on "Have You Met Mr. Jones" anchoring a session that got better with each track. Richard wrote and produced all of the music bringing a fresh arsenal to the stage and putting us on alert to track his progress.
